The Kansas City Whiskey Expo was founded on the idea that learning can be fun. It’s a celebration of bringing people together who have a passion for all things whiskey. 3 years ago, this event started as the Weston Whiskey and Tobacco Fest and quickly grew to a point that it had to evolve. It needed a new home. Happily, Harrah’s Kansas City Casino and Hotel was eager to host as they can provide extraordinary amenities such as food, lodging, entertainment, and gaming experiences in one place. We are also proud to bring back Four Roses Bourbon as our title sponsor.

At the Kansas City Whiskey Expo, plan on meeting master distillers, master blenders, brand managers, and many other industry professionals who want to share their knowledge as you taste several whiskies throughout the evening. Discover what local distilleries have to offer as well as share drams from all over the world with other enthusiasts. Study the differences between small batch, blended, single malt, wheated, peated, bourbon, and rye. Learn about mixology and hand-crafted cocktails. There will also be seminars with limited seating where attendees can get a deeper education on what is involved when crafting whiskey.

While the Kansas City Whiskey Expo focuses on presenting the most comprehensive list of available whiskies to the metro, we certainly refuse to exclude those who don’t indulge in liquid sunshine. Other spirits such as vodka, tequila, rum, and gin will also be available to sample along with wine and beer options. However, we strongly believe that there is a whiskey out there for everyone’s liking, you just have to find the right one. Let’s get ready Kansas City! Let’s be social again!
